I'm rushing about too much. I didn't even have time to write much about last week, cept' for that bit which I pre-prepared (is there such a word?) on paper. Another downer was the last minute (we didn't find out till afew days before) change of our obligatory guard duties to a weekend. I missed out on Baybeats' Saturday's session.. other people had to forgo their plans with friends. Think "BLEAH" One thing about being in Armour is that while we can rely on our M113s for movement and don't have to lug heavy field packs and do route marches like Infantry, our mode of comfortable transport is also our daily sorrow of fatigue and sorrow. We have to wake up on some days as early as 4am to prepare our vehicles. Training can sometimes end at 11pm, 12am even. This is considering that we are not even in a high-key event period like an outfield camp. I don't remember sleeping less than 5 hours consecutively for afew days during normal training in the past. I'm also worried about this backache I'm getting every now and then. Think its from carrying too many heavy equipment in wrong postures. OK fuck.. I'm blabbering. I'll be getting some rest and sleep now to recharge my batteries. I'll feel better in the morning. |
