.. was OK lah. There were the good and the not-so-good bits. Went down with OpenStage veterans Lloyd and Shamz. The bands were good, with Electrico and EIC shining through with great sets as usual. Rai of EIC was given a special welcome by his audience, who also happened to be his students in this case. I wonder how does it feel like to appear as a normal teacher to them on usual days and then a rock star suddenly transformed... ;) The crowd's numbers and response left much to be desired though. Although people really got into the swing of things for some sets, they seemed strangely cold for others. Really odd. What I felt could help improve any future gigs in schools is to remove all the chairs at the venue grounds - having seats around just encourages people to get lazy.. But overall I'd still give the gig a thumbs-up. Music's good and there were many great moments, moreover the ticket sales would go towards charity = entertainment for a good cause. I made a gallery of the photos I took @ the gig. Click on the picture on the right to view. |
