1 + 1 != 2 was wonderful. I missed Astreal, but Electrico never failed to wow with their sounds. (eh, when's the album coming out?) Finally managed to see Lunarin perform live, felt good to sing along to familiar songs.

LocalBarBoy deserves a special mention, and to think the guys almost left to get some makan - It was giddy let-your-hair loose fun we clapped and sang to LBB's covers of local songs. Joe Ng chuckled after every song ended and I saw Serenaide's Natalie who was sitting near me up front raised an eyebrow and said "I've known him for so many years and I've never seen him like that." Maybe it was the alcohol in the bloodstream, the band didn't say no when a helpful organiser brought up half a dozen cans of b33r to help them keep cool.

"You know what's the best beer in the world?" Joe asks with a Tiger in his hand, pauses then says "FREE BEER!" and takes a swift one.

I didn't know that they "really didn't practise any other songs! No more!" and I kept shouting for "ONE MORE!"s and "ENCORE!"s. They obliged with some sort of song where for the lyrics they didn't know they ad-libbed from the songs that they sang earlier. We laughed ourselves silly and cheered them on.
