Apologies to anyone who tried to visit this place the last few days. I got some explaining to do.
Firstly, my internet connection got cut off abruptly. One glorious Saturday morning last week, I woke up to "Unable to connect to remote computer" *Shrugs* After 5 more days of unconnectivity, a call was made to Singnet. Ah I see! Account got terminated. Singnet account gone = main email account (tanttt@singnet.com.sg) with 30mb of no advert/popup/bullshit mail space, gone. = 2mb of complementary web space, also gone. :) At this point in time, I'm surprised to say that net depravation is not the main emotion I'm feeling. My connection track record has had previous long downtimes before. Its more a sense of detachment combined with latent anger at my wonderful father's unilateral decision to pull the plug. But after 19 years with him, I can't say that this sort of behaviour was unexpected. Yep, IT Ground Zero. What to do? Start rebuilding again loh. Mini-Misedu will be restored to complete functionality again soon. |
