AFTERMATH - THE DISASTER IN REVIEW
In retrospective, its black comedy gold the way I was such a bright sunshine about the gig. "woohoo! hope it good." seemed so ironic when compared to what really happened:

<perp-out> 1. rumours (actual info?) said the gig was supposed to start @ 3:30pm. the setup crew only arrived @ 4pm++
<arsonist> isnt that usual?
<perp-out> 2. power supply probs. damn jialat. the gig got delayed till 6.. almost 7pm
<blueprint> siala. 3 to 6+. you all do what. fly kite ah
<perp-out> fuck.. just waited there lah.. yishun wad.. not town. was stuck in the north.
<perp-out> 3. power went out twice during 1 band's session. even the park's floodlights gone out
<perp-out> the bands themselves.. i only caught the 1st 3. were quite ok
<perp-out> in conclusion - power probs & crew crappiness
<perp-out> the guy who kept having to go chk out the power supply had this fucked up face after awhile
<arsonist> who the soundmen?
<perp-out> the sound crew consisted of 2 guys & this girl wif a PeTA shirt on
<perp-out> fuck man after that gig i wanted to go eat KFC or something

But all in all, despite this being the BEST WORST GIG EXPERIENCE I've had so far, in saving grace I must say I enjoyed the bands & the music when the power actually stayed on. Of special note, Wishing For Amerdale was exceptional. At 1 point during their session, the drummer sang... while drumming! Elite.

In conclusion. Yea, the gig was bad. BUT the bands were good. And besides, nothing beats the energy & feel of a live gig. This experience is but an insignificant setback. Support local scene!

During Wishing For Amerdale's session, the power & lights abrupt goes out. After the power & lights came back on...

Lead vocalist: [deadpans] Well. You know what they say- shit happens.

The band continues to play on. Awhile later, another power outage. Power gets restored again after awhile.

Lead vocalist: [uber deadpan] AND shit happens again.
