For what its worth, arriving at almost 2pm at MI (even when almost all the teachers have left) was a good thing. The few teachers I managed to see and catch up abit chit-chatting are special to me. Those that weren't around are too. But I rather they enjoy their rare half-day with their families and friends than stay back just for a single ex-pupil. Of all the days to have draggy morning debriefings and it happened on the day I applied leave. And a million yellow, blue, red, bloody cabs everywhere and they were all adamant not to pick me up. Even the ones that were free of passengers. FUBAR. Ah well. My only regrets are to have Eka & Sham wait so long. And for what its worth, to all the ex-classmates I've met today, (although having EVERYONE together would be a dream come true) I've had a wonderful time just chilling and talking, coffee 'round a table in the day, couple of drinks at night. Its not where we were, or what we did, but who we were with which mattered the most to me. Given all the hiccups and boo-boos today I should sulk and be pissed. I'm glad for all the individual reasons to be smiling. |
