Bobdammit, an entire generation pumping petrol and doing accounting & administrative work. They're slaves with white collars. Advertising has them paying COE, ERP, parking coupons and for branded labels, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need.

We are the slacker generation in Singaporean history, man. No purpose or place. We had no separation from Malaya, no struggle to fight for foreign investment or jobs. Our separation is from our dreams & aspirations. Our struggle, is to upkeep our expensive lifestyles.

We've all been raised by television to believe that one day we'll all be millionaires & Mediacorp celebrities & American Idols - but we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off. "
